I took this pic one morning down the road from my house at a campsite. I had to honk my horn and finally act like I was coming for it before it took flight.

I suggest you learn a bit more about your subjects and why flushing them on purpose is a bad idea.
Start at www.moosepeterson.com and look at his wildlife journals.
